The Corner Kick

A corner kick is awarded to the attacking team when the ball was last touched by a member of the defending team and crosses its goal line without a goal being scored. A corner kick is also awarded if the ball enters the goal from a throw-in or an indirect free kick. The attacking team restarts the game with the ball placed in the corner arc nearest to where the ball crossed the goal line. Defending players must be at least 10 yards from the ball when it is kicked. The corner taker may not touch the ball after the corner kick until another player has touched it.
